Over here, we’re celebrating spring weather and all of the beautiful flowers that have been popping up. Tulips are really popular here – and not to mention gorgeous – so I’m hoping to get to the garden soon to take some photos.

I’m currently creating a plan for our bathroom remodel! I’ve been itching to have a project, but the phrase “be careful what you wish for” has never rang so true! I have most of the big picture ideas lined out, I just need to start putting them into action. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options, but I’m going for a classic style and subway tile.

I recently purchased my first pair of Birkenstocks after having knock offs for the past couple years and oh my goodness are these babies a game changer. The real deal is 100% worth the splurge.

I’m going to be taking a little spring break from work here in a couple weeks. I’m looking forward to catching up on sleep and a lot of little projects I have going on around here.

Tulips are really popular here too, with a whole festival dedicated to them – they’re a bit behind schedule in blooming, since it’s been so cold all spring, but I guess that makes me extra happy to see them now! And I know exactly what you mean about the remodel – I love a project, but there are soooo many decisions involved in redoing bathrooms and kitchens that it’s easy to get bogged down in the middle. The end is worth it though – especially when you do a classic subway tile. My fave!
