Queen Anne’s lace, still growing wild. The joy of our boys sharing their special interests with each other. All of us cramming into the UTV to go exploring. An ankle-deep-in-the-mud rescue. Lots of chats and the simple goodness of doing real life alongside our besties. Casey’s breakfast pizza, always.
A trip to The Rabbit hOle and the delight of watching our favorite books come to life. The “when can we see our friends again?” and the “are we there yets?” that start approximately five minutes into the drive.
Kids who love each other because their parents love each other. Watching the things we’ve always loved about these weekends become things our boys look forward to, too.
A very full, very good weekend — and already talking about the next one.
