This weekend was full of some of my favorite things.

I wrote during Blog-tember about how I love all the seasons and I do but I can’t help but feel like fall might be the most captivating. There is just something about those changing leaves that inspires me on so many levels. When I worked on my journaling bible this weekend I used lots of warm colors, and I can’t help but think that was why. I feel a hike calling me.

Saturday morning, I had a little extra time to sleep in. She wasn’t too excited about it, though. I decided to take her on a nice long walk to make it up to her. HA! She’s the most curious thing, too – eating pizza crust and pouncing on crickets.

As we were getting back from the walk, she discovered hot air balloons. She didn’t even notice them until it let the flame up and she could hear it. She watched for a good five minutes trying to figure out what on earth was going on.

After Saturday afternoon, I did a pretty crappy job at taking photos. I feel like now that I have a captive audience (aka my dog), she’s all that I take photos of. Saturday night, we went to a Mizzou watch party, I won’t talk about the game but the party was really fun. Sunday morning we went to church and then we reinstated a breakfast club with friends that were in town from St. Louis. After, we took a nap, took Chloe on a walk and ran some errands. It was a quite evening and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Hope you all have a great week!
